This course, titled "Course 101 - Basics - General Company Policy," provides an overview of the policies and procedures that apply to all employees of the organization. Topics covered include the company's code of conduct, information pertaining to workplace standards, breaks and event policies. This course is designed for new employees and serves as an introduction to the company's values and expectations.
This course covers how to make labels for equipment. This includes the barcode, stencils and any other larger labeling required on a case or piece of equipment. This course also covers how to make content lists for storage containers that have removable items.
This course goes over the procedure for returning equipment to the warehouse after a job. This is followed by the de-prepping of the equipment in the next course.
This course outlines the basic safety rules when working for Sound In Town.
This course goes over how to add new inventory to Flex. This includes adding it into it's proper category, assigning it a new barcode, adding any specific storage requirements as well as how to add in the new equipment to be sold to the customer.
This course will go over the expectations and remittance process when employees use their own vehicle for work purposes with Sound In Town. If you use your vehicle from home to your main work location this policy does not apply. It only comes into effect when an employee uses their vehicle for the following:
- Traveling between work locations during work hours
- Transporting equipment
- Any approved travel by your supervisor
